- Medical/Prescription Insurance
Coverage is provided to eligible employees and begins on the first day of the month following date of hire. Plan options available include HMO and POS with varying co-payments and usage of in-network/out-of-network physicians. The plan provides coverage for eligible family member(s) and/or a domestic partner with varying contributory amounts. - Dental Insurance
Coverage is provided for eligible employees and begins on the first day of the month following date of hire. The PPO option offers comprehensive benefits covering eligible family member(s) and or a domestic partner with varying contributory amounts. - 401K Plan
Our 401(k) Plan is administered by ADP Retirement Services and invested by Morgan Stanley and allows eligible employees to make payroll deferrals from 2% to a maximum of 20%. Eligibility is the 1st quarter following date of hire. - Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
FSAs are powerful, tax-saving devices that enable employees through payroll deduction, to set aside pre-tax dollars for qualified medical expenses not covered by the health plan and for dependent care expenses. The plan's annual maximums range from $2,000 to $5,000 based on filing status and account selection. Enrollment is available on the first day of the month following date of hire or annually on January 1st thereafter. - Life Insurance
Life Insurance coverage is provided at no cost to the eligible employee. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following date of hire. The policy is equal to two times your annual salary up to a maximum of $400,000. - Accidental Death & Dismemberment
Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage is provided at no cost to the eligible employee. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following date of hire. The policy is equal to two times your annual salary up to a maximum of $400,000. - Short-term Disability
Short-term disability coverage is provided at no cost to the eligible employee. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following date of hire. The policy covers up to 13 weeks at 66.67% of total weekly earnings, when medically necessary. - Long-term Disability
Long-term disability coverage is provided at no cost to the eligible employee. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following date of hire. The policy covers an employee at 66.67% of monthly salary earnings, when medically necessary, for a period determined by employee age at time of disability. - Travel Insurance
This policy covers eligible employees while traveling on 454 Life Sciences business, by compensating those who are no older than 70 years of age, at a minimum of $100,000, in the event of accidental death or dismemberment. - Holiday Pay
454 Life Sciences offers its employees ten paid holidays per calendar year. - Tuition Reimbursement
Tuition reimbursement is available to eligible employees after completing a full year of employment. An annual maximum of $3,000 is available for reimbursement for undergraduate courses and up to $4,000 for graduate courses. - Employee Assistance Program
454 Life Sciences employees and their dependents receive confidential assistance with personal problems from professional counselors through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Counselors may be contacted by using a toll-free number to arrange a confidential interview to assess problems or issues affecting employee's well-being. This service is prepaid by 454. The counselor can help identify problems and develop a plan to resolve it in one to three sessions, for which there is no charge. If a referral to a community resource is made, every effort is made by the EAP to assist in the coordination of additional services through our medical provider. - Credit Union

As the health of our employees is very important to us, 454 Life Sciences annually offers all employees FREE influenza vaccinations during the flu season. This service is provided on-site by a recognized healthcare provider. - Vacation Time
